Filip MIkanović - Economic and Social Council, President

Second-year student at University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics, on an international LSE Economics and finance program. He is also a directorial board member at the Center for International Public Policy, an NGO located in Belgrade, Serbia. Most recently, he won the best delegate award at the BIMUN 2017 conference. Next to macroeconomics and economic policy, his primary interests are international relations, EU integration and business advisory. His favorite quote is from a book by Dostoyevsky: I've asked myself many times whether there is in the world any despair that could overcome this frantic thirst for life. And I've come to the conclusion that there isn't.” (Brothers Karamazov)

 

Filip Veljanovski - Economic and Social Council, Vice-President

Second-year student at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences at the University of Belgrade. His primary focus, besides his studies, is in the organization AIESEC, where he is the team leader of the Sales team. Besides AIESEC, Filip is also a member of the Center for International Public Policy and a multiple-time debate tournament winner. He is very keen on learning all aspects of business organization and sees himself in a managerial position one day. He spends his free time learning different skills and meeting new people.
