She graduated from “Prima International School” and is currently taking a gap year before applying to study Political Sciences in Germany. She has participated at six MUN conferences, and this will be her fourth BIMUN. She is interested in current affairs, politics and languages. She is fluent in English, German and Norwegian. In her free time she likes to go skiing, cycling and climbing. She believes BIMUN is a great opportunity to learn, not only about current issues and the United Nations, but also to master skills such as public speaking, lobbying and debating. She looks forward to meeting everyone at BIMUN 2019!
Second year student at “Kreativno pero” high school in Belgrade. She participated at BIMUN Junior Conference 2018 as a delegate of the General Assembly and this year she will take part in BIMUN Junior team. She is engaged in youth activism and volunteering, so she has attended many seminars and workshops, as well as organized different projects. Her interests include traveling, music and dance she has been working on for 10 years now. She is an ambitious and communicative person, always open for new experiences. She believes that BIMUN is great for everyone who would like to contribute to making this world a better place.
Third year student at Third Belgrade high school, planning on applying to Belgrade Faculty of Psychology. Last year she participated at BIMUN 2018 as a delegate of the General Assembly and is a team member of BIMUN 2019. Currently, she is also a participant of the psychology seminar at Petnica Science Center and is an active member of her school parliament. She is and open-minded person who loves travelling and meeting new people. Furthermore her interests include international relations, physics, music and acting. Looks forward to meeting new people at the BIMUN 2019 conference.
Mateja Lazarević is 18 years old and currently in his senior year of the Philological High School in Belgrade, where the primary languages he is studying are English and German. With his foremost academic interests laying in the sphere of philology and linguistics, it comes as no surprise that he plans on enrolling in the Faculty of Philology, come the end of his final year of high school. Apart from languages, Mateja thoroughly enjoys sociology and socio-cultural anthropology, the seminar of which he is attending at the Petnica Research Centre in Valjevo, as well as geopolitics and political economy. He hopes to one day in some form help bring forth a world of economic and social equality, as well as peace and tolerance. He is sincerely looking forward to meeting and working with you all at the BIMUN 2019 conference, where we can all at least try to shape the world of tomorrow!
